Safer Workplace working in partnership with Rotary to support our youth

Angela Healy at Safer Workplace was approached by one of the dynamic members of Rotary Otumoetai, Carmen Goodwin. Carmen has a vision to take Rotary funding to a place for sustainable funding of our future generations and forging the pathways into workforce. Carmen and Angela want to do their part to ensure those who work hard to achieve at school get a hand up into the workforce.

Quote from Angela Healy: “I have clients approach me with their concerns that they have an aging workforce, to combat this they hire youth. However, the youth are not staying with the employer, instead they get the qualifications and take them to work further afield. We are wanting our talented youth to have challenging and dynamic careers here in the Bay of Plenty and I believe that working with Rotary we are helping to contribute to this.”
